An introductory day to the aesthetic skincare and product range Circadia was held in Soho, London on November 30, for industry professionals who already stock, or are interested in bringing the range into their clinics.

Galderma (UK) Ltd is running a series of Study Days in Aesthetic Dermatology for the 11 regional groups of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN).Frank Ward, Galderma’s Key Accounts Manager, who is supervising the programme, explained that the company has a heritage of training in the field of dermatology and – given Galderma’s recent entry into the aesthetics market – is now replicating that expertise in this area, too. “Our Study Days for the BACN are linking the two sectors,” he said, ”and giving added value to members of the Association.”With their backgrounds as trained nurses and being registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), members of the BACN have joined the organisation as independent injectors of dermal fillers and botulinum toxin. By taking advantage of Galderma’s workshops they will learn how to diagnose and treat skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.Following two introductory BACN Study Days in the North West and South West – which have established a successful agenda - the next Galderma workshop will be in London in November at the Wellcome Trust in Euston.
