The British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) has opened its academic poster submission for its Autumn Aesthetic Conference on November 8 and 9 in Birmingham.
Nurse members are encouraged to submit posters to showcase their knowledge and potential solutions to support, inform and educate their fellow BACN members.
Sharron Brown, BACN board member said, “The BACN board acknowledges that our members have a wide range of prior experiences and whether they are fairly new to this speciality or seen as experts in this field, our annual conference is the ideal environment for those voices to showcase their skills, knowledge or practice. I hope this may be a gentle nudge for more nurses to come forward and show the talents they are modestly hiding.”
The contents of the poster can either be research-based using established scientific methods or demonstrate experience and information from individuals or collaborations such as from clinics or institutions.
According to the BACN, all posters submitted will be peer reviewed by the programme committee and those chosen will be informed by email.
Posters will be on display during the conference lunch break and at a dedicated poster session.
The BACN Autumn Aesthetic Conference will take place at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham on November 8 and 9.
