The British Association of Sclerotherapists (BAS) have announced the winner of its Win a Free Place competition.
Gaynor Hughes of Aistheta in Somerset and Dorset received a free ticket to attend the BAS 2018 sclerotherapy conference for medical professionals.
Gaynor is an independent nurse prescriber and member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and The Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) Group. She became a member of The BAS in January this year.
Gaynor, who has worked in the aesthetic specialty since 2011, said, "I am thrilled to be the winner of the BAS free place competition for the 2018 conference. The programme has a superb mixture of topics." She continued, "It is a great opportunity to update my skills and increase my knowledge in microsclerotherapy, especially with attending sessions that cover venous anatomy, understanding techniques and complications, observing live demonstrations and much more. It is good to see that the day is designed for both doctors and nurse specialists alike."
The conference takes place on 15 May at Dorney Lake Conference Centre, near Windsor.
