BAS launches conference competition

06 Dec 2017

The British Association of Sclerotherapists (BAS) are giving practitioners the opportunity to be in the running to win a free ticket to its 2018 conference.

The conference, which will be held on Tuesday May 15, aims to help practitioners offering microsclerotherapy or foam treatments, from aesthetics newcomers to vascular consultants.

The day will offer presentations and demonstrations from industry professionals and will include refresher sessions in areas such as resuscitation and anaphylaxis.

Consultant vascular surgeon Mr Philip Coleridge Smith, the president of the BAS, said, “We’re delighted to have secured Dorney Lake Conference Centre again; the feedback from our last meeting there was superlative. We hope delegates from throughout the UK and Ireland will enjoy updating and developing their sclerotherapy skills and networking with peers. With not more than 80 delegates, we can accommodate everyone’s questions and discussions. An interesting and enlightening programme is in the pipeline.”

To enter the competition, practitioners must go to the BAS website and answer the question: which international sporting event is the BAS 2018 conference venue most famous for?

The conference will be held at the Dorney Lake Conference Centre near Windsor, 20 minutes from London Heathrow airport. The competition closes March 15, 2018.
