Biorivolumetria dermal fillers by Regenyal Laboratories has been introduced to the UK by distributor Belle.
The filler range aims to provide a biocompatible and bioabsorbable product that recreates lost volume, addresses skin blemishes caused by ageing, regenerates and restructures the skin, and produces natural- looking results.
According to Belle, the chemical structure of the product allows for the isolation of three molecular weights of hyaluronic acid (HA) rather than two, often found in other HA fillers.
The HA is cross-linked with 1,4-butanediol diglycidyl ether (BDDE) at an amount that is 30% lower than the majority of other similar products to provide a ‘safer product with fewer side effects’, the company claims.
Dr Milvia Di Gioia, a Biorivolumetria trainer and
consultant has been using this treatment in her private
practice in London since 2010.
"With the Biorivolumetria approach, antiageing is actually a progression of gestures aimed at creating a new balance in the volumes of the face, in the appearance of the skin, in the harmony of forms and creating new habits to contrast the aging process," she said.
Dr Di Gioia added, "The technology of the production process has a direct influence on the tissues response and helps preventing the complications that may occur: purity, HA concentration, size of the molecules, amount of the cross-linking agent are among the most important features to consider when choosing a filler."
Ben Sharples, managing director of Belle said, “Regenyal Biorivolumetria has proven extremely popular throughout Europe since its launch in 2009 and we are excited to finally be able to offer its benefits to clients in the UK.”
For practitioners wanting to learn more, there will be a Biorivolumetria training event in London on November 26.
