The online resource for patients with skin of colour, Black Skin Directory, is set to open its post-summer pigmentation e-pop-up shop on October 1.
According to the Black Skin Directory, the launch will offer an edit of three clinically-proven treatments which have been selected as they address pigmentation that is often exacerbated in the summer months. The company claims this one of the most common skincare concerns reported by black women and women of colour.
The products included are the NeoStrata Enlighten Illuminating Serum which aims to exfoliate existing pigmentation and prevent new pigmentation forming; the Nuhanciam Anti Dark Spot Power Factor 4 which aims to visibly reduce all pigmentation marks and lighten dark spots; and the SkinBetter Science Even Tone Cream which is a non-hydroquinone and non-retinol formula aiming to reduce in the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
The launch will be the first in a series of targeted e-pop-ups that aim to provide effective treatment solutions for the needs of darker skin tones.
