Clinicminds launches new cloud-based patient app

Dutch software development company Clinicminds has launched a cloud-based app for patient relationship management. The Clinicminds application addresses the full clinical workflow, from appointments to invoicing and client analytics. 

Its cloud-based technology means the app can be accessed from any location and from any device with internet access. On a subscription basis, Clinicminds can be used on ipads as well as desktop Macs and PCs, and was created by a team of software developers and medical aesthetic physician Toby Makmel. 

A clinic owner himself, the idea for the CRM application was borne from Makmel’s desire for a simple and all-encompassing tool for patient management.

"At the time, we were looking for an application covering the full clinical workflow, that was user friendly and also affordable for smaller clinics,” said Makmel. “Much to my surprise I learned that such a product did not exist."

Tested over the course of a year by medical aesthetics practitioners, the cloud-based app has received favourable reviews. "The field of aesthetic treatments like botulinum toxin, fillers, laser and small surgery is becoming increasingly regulated,” said Makmel. “Clinicminds software makes it much easier to be in compliance with protocols and regulations.”
