Aesthetic practitioner and dentist Dr Brian Franks has launched an injectable training course in association with education provider Wynyard Aesthetics Academy.
According to Dr Franks, the course places an emphasis on recognising indications for treatment, and provides information on how to provide comprehensive consultations, how to advise them on any unrealistic expectations, risks prior to treatment, and when to say no to treating patients.
All Wynyard Aesthetics Academy modules are CPD accredited through The CPD Accreditation Group and include full sets of learning outcomes, evidence and assessment criteria, according to the company. Wynyard Aesthetics Academy state that the course will count as access to the MSc (Clin) in the Specialist Practice of Clinical Aesthetic Non-Surgical Interventions (STFV) with the award of a PGCert (Clin) ANSI. This MSc will be available later in 2019, Wynyard Aesthetics Academy states.
After successfully completing a training course, students can re-attend the same course as an observer as many times as they wish at no additional cost and there are a limited number of students per course.
