Eden Aesthetics collaborates with Cosmetic Courses

Skincare distributor Eden Aesthetics has partnered with training provider Cosmetic Courses to offer polydioxanone (PDO) thread training for their brand N-Finders.

Eden Aesthetics are the UK distributors for N-Finders PDO threads, made in Korea, which are approved by the KFDA (Korean Food and Drug Association) and are CE marked.

The study was conducted by the department of dermatology at the Korea University Ansan Hospital. A retrospective chart review on the threads was conducted over a 24-month period, in which a total of 31 thread lifting procedures were performed. On each side, five bidirectional cog threads were used in the procedure for the nasolabial folds. The procedure was performed on the marionette lines using two twin threads. In 87% of patients the results obtained were considered satisfactory. Consensus ratings by physicians found that objective outcomes were divided among ‘excellent’, ‘good’, ‘fair’ and ‘poor. Texture wise, the outcome ratings were 13 as excellent and nine as good. Lifting wise, ratings were 11 as excellent and six as good.

Director of Cosmetic Courses Jim Savin said, “We are delighted to train with N-Finder PDO threads. They have a comprehensive range of threads available. All the training has been warmly received, enabling medical professionals to expand their offering for aesthetic treatments.”

The training is available monthly from the companies two Care Quality Commission (CQC) locations in Princes Risborough and Nottingham.
