Fusion GT announces Dr Lakhani as UK Plexr trainer

Aesthetic distributor Fusion GT has appointed Dr Shirin Lakhani as its UK trainer for the plasma generator device Plexr.

Director of Fusion GT, Tiziana Giovanelli, said she is thrilled to have Dr Lakhani  training UK practitioners on how to use the non-surgical blepharoplasty device. She said, “Being a pioneer and educator of soft surgery in the UK, Fusion GT wanted an experienced doctor whose opinions are well respected, who is an excellent communicator, forward thinker and confident to work with Plexr. We found all this and more in Dr Shirin Lakhani, who is trusted implicitly by her patients and respected by her peers.”

Dr Lakhani graduated from Guys and St Thomas’ hospitals in London in 1999 and worked for the NHS gaining experience in urology, anaesthetics and accident and emergency. Dr Lakhani then became a practicing GP and aesthetic doctor before opening her own clinic, Elite Aesthetics in Kent in 2013.

Dr Lakhani said, “Using Plexr as an alternative to eye surgery has enabled more patients to look less tired, less aged, younger and fresher, as for many patients, surgery wouldn’t even be an option. Plexr is also used for excess skin anywhere on the face and body and for scars, whether caused by trauma or acne.”
