Healthxchange Group to launch Clever Clinic app

12 Oct 2018

Healthxchange Group, which encompasses Healthxchange Pharmacy and Healthxchange Academy, will launch a new app that has been designed to ‘transform how doctors and nurses interact with their patients’.

Due to be made available to Healthxchange Group customers in 2019, this electronic medical record app will include a calendar booking system and a notification system with built-in patient and practitioner pathways that monitors the progress of a patient appointment.

A prescription generator which links to the Healthxchange e-pharmacy is an additional feature of the app, aimed to ‘create a seamless pathway for prescribing’. In addition, during face-to-face consultations, the practitioner is able to take notes using the Clever Clinic, which automatically generates product and treatment options they can consider. The software can also automate descriptors for patient notes and invoices, which the company explains can be particularly useful for medico-legal and VAT challenges.

Dr John Curran, chairman of Healthxchange Group said, “Clever Clinic is a natural extension of our services. We became aware, through our interactions with the profession, that there are multiple areas of practice management that throw up daily challenges for our client partners. Clever Clinic was developed as a resource to help meet these inefficiencies providing significant financial and clinical benefits.”

He adds, “We can’t wait to demonstrate to industry the radical nature of the Clever Clinic; the intelligent and intuitive application has features we believe can make a real difference to aesthetic practitioners and clinic businesses.”

Clever Clinic will be available for iOS devices as well as having a desktop version for clinic administration staff.
