Industry Qualifications (IQ) has recently had confirmation that its Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine meets the criteria for the Joint Council of Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) approval, meaning that all graduates of the qualification may be eligible for entry to the JCCP register.
IQ chief executive Raymond Clarke said, “We are delighted to have received confirmation of this endorsement. This provides further recognition of the ongoing value of this qualification within the sector – both in terms of practitioner competence and the subsequent effects upon client and patient safety.”
This confirmation is a result of the latest IQ qualifications period review, which was conducted to ensure it continues to reflect best practice and the standards set by relevant industry bodies.
The company states that all IQ education and training providers, delivering this qualification to those authorised to practice by their Professional Statutory Regulated Bodies will now be expected to adhere to the revised requirements.
