Mel Recchia offers personal training services

Nurse prescriber Mel Recchia will be offering her own training courses to practitioners.

Recchia has worked for more than 16 years as an aesthetics nurse practitioner and has spent 10 years teaching aesthetic medicine to other healthcare professionals. She has become a lead trainer for aesthetic manufacturer Teoxane.

Recchia will train under her own brand by offering bespoke courses on a one-to-one basis. There will be formal group training for topics such as advanced toxin and dermal fillers, which will cover all areas of the face.

The first course will be an advanced toxin course on June 9 in Buckinghamshire, and the second on July 5 in Northamptonshire.

The course will cover aspects of advanced treatment, including hyperhidrosis for the hands and axilla, Nefertiti necklift and jawline, masseter injections for jaw slimming or teeth grinding, lip flips, nose drooping, bunny lines and gummy smiles. Training will be carried out in a clinical setting with full facilities. A full theory will take place, followed by injections of the various areas on live models.

Each course will take up to four delegates and a certificate will be provided on completion of the day.
