The Cadogan Clinic in London has launched a new safe-guarding service, Mole Check, that aims to protect patients against malignant melanoma skin cancer.
The service aims to map every mole on the patient’s body to provide a photographic record of mole distribution, allowing a dermatologist to analyse the data and identify potentially cancerous moles at the earliest possible stage.
The service takes around 30 minutes and aims to provide a way to allow treatment by a consultant dermatologist in the same day.
