A one-day scientific meeting for entry-level healthcare professionals (HCPs) starting out in aesthetics will take place next month.
FACExpo, created by oral and maxillofacial surgeon Mr James Olding, will consist of an educational programme, workshops, breakout sessions, networking and research presentations.
Speakers at the event include Mr Olding, alongside aesthetic practitioners Dr Tapan Patel, Dr Zainab Al-Mukhtar, Dr Jordan Faulkner, Dr Jane Leonard and Dr Davina Wilson; oral and maxillofacial surgeons Miss Caroline Mills and Miss Sieuming Ng; independent nurse prescriber Julie Scott; and chair of the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners, Professor David Sines.
The event will take place on November 27 at the Royal Society of Medicine, London, with Allergan Spark as the headline sponsor.
Mr Olding explains, “This conference will seamlessly combine surgical and non-surgical, novice and expert, UK and international. Our vision is to empower HCPs to make the best first steps into the industry, and this links up closely with our creation of pioneer schemes in mentorship. We have been able to put together a comprehensive educational programme spanning education, clinical practice, business and regulation that will leave delegates inspired and empowered."
