Guests were welcomed by French plastic surgeon Mr Roger Amar to the Lansdowne Club in London for his Fresh Autologous Mesenchymal Integration (FAMI) technique launch on December 12.
Canapés and drinks were provided while Mr Amar introduced the event and gave a presentation about his background and the creation of his FAMI technique.
He explained that the FAMI technique is a non-invasive, restorative approach to aesthetic surgery that uses specific cannula to place autografts of pre-adipocytes (adult stem cells) into the muscle. According to Mr Amar, the procedure can correct asymmetry and restore the face to a more youthful appearance.
Mr Amar also provided examples of his treatment, showing before and after images of his patients and engaged with guests in a question and answer session.
Mr Amar said of the event, “Our aim tonight was to promote the stem cell FAMI technique for facial rejuvenation as a non-surgical alternative to face-lift and blepharoplasty. After my talk, guests had more information about this non-invasive procedure that uses adult stem cells, which is organic, predictable, very long lasting and painless.”
