On September 25, clinic management software developer iConsult held an aesthetic business workshop at the Hilton Hotel in Birmingham.
The iConsult Discovery Day aimed to provide professionals running aesthetic clinics with marketing strategies to help take their business to the next level and to help new start-ups to step into the specialty.
The event opened at 10am with an inspirational video and presentation by founder and creator of iConsult Interactive Client Management System Richard Crawford-Small. Throughout the day were different focuses, covering analysis, branding and future planning. Also speaking at the event was brand and design specialist Russell Turner, who was the person behind Hotel Chocolate; and Ruth Zawoda, founder and managing director of aesthetic content marketing service Truly Content.
Sharon Allen, business development executive of Enhance Insurance, who attended the event as a delegate, said, "The event went really well. It was extremely inspiring and insightful to learn more about how you can make sure your business is the best it can possibly be through ensuring you are sending the right messages to your customers.”
Crawford-Small said of the day, “The right kind of exposure and marketing plan for a start-up brand or clinic in this industry is not easy. Our Discovery Days are an entry level stepping stone that can help new and established businesses to launch a product or service into the aesthetics market in the right way, keeping ethical practice at the heart of every stage along the way. We hope our delegates learnt how to create a clear, effective and easy to implement sales and marketing plan, assess current branding, and learn how to create a unique brand and tone of voice that completely reflects their unique selling points.”
The next Discovery Day will be November 15 at the Dallas Burston polo Club in Worcestershire.
