Juvea Aesthetics on Harley Street conducted a day of training and demonstrations to launch the Icon Aesthetic System on May 26.
The day included live demonstrations of the Icon, focusing on patients with skin concerns such as: acne scarring, stretch marks and surgical scars from breast reduction as well as skin rejuvenation to correct wrinkles, fine lines, sun spots and pigmentation.
The Icon is a fractional non-ablative laser that aims to improve the appearances of scarring. According to Cynosure, the equipment contains the only Food and Drug Administration approved Skintel melanin reader to analyse skin types and transmit vital information wirelessly.
During the seminar, guests heard from medical director of Juvea Aesthetics, Mr Faz Zavahir, injectable trainer from Medical and Aesthetic Academy Training (MATA), Mr Apul Parikh, and lead clinical specialist from Cynosure, Kelly Harding.
Mr Zavahir, said, “We are one of the first clinics in the UK to launch this technology – you can do a combination of fractional non-ablative and Max G at the same time and we are excited to offer this to our patients and delegates for MATA training academy, for skin rejuvenation, scar reduction, acne scarring and more.”
