Marco Facchinetti, ‎international sales and marketing manager at Euroresearch, the company who pioneered Nithya in Europe, opened the meeting with a presentation explaining how this type of injectable collagen can volumise the face and body.

Next, aesthetic plastic surgeon Dr Antonello Tateo provided delegates with an informative presentation on Nithya, which is distributed by Vida Aesthetics.

After speaking about the differences between the collagen injectable and hyaluronic acid and how they work together, Dr Tateo explained that Nithya is a heterologous type I collagen powder of equine origin, that aims to stimulate mass fibroblast production and create type III collagen.

He explained that the CE-approved injectable collagen also aims to promote better microcirculation, which in turn aids the process of neocollagenesis and three-dimensional skin restructuring after treatment.

Dr Tateo provided a live demonstration of the product, before delegates were invited to practice the treatments on models.
