Restarting of cosmetic facial treatments postponed

Today the Government announced that the resuming of close contact services such as facial cosmetic treatments that were due to resume in England tomorrow will be postponed until at least August 15.

Practitioners will be unable to offer procedures such as face waxing, sugaring or threading services, facial treatments, advanced facial technical (electrical or mechanical), eyelash treatments, makeup application, dermarolling, dermaplaning, microblading, electrolysis on the face, eyebrow treatments and intricate detailing.

Currently this guidance does not apply to regulated healthcare professionals undergoing treatments performed in a medical setting.
