The second gathering of the International Scar Treatment Conference will take place in Tel Aviv, Israel on March 21 and 22.
This year's event, named Scars II, will present the latest innovations in aesthetics and scar treatment. The conference organisers claim to bring together practitioners from the worldwide plastic surgery, aesthetic and dermatology community to explore the newest, cutting-edge practises.
The two-day conference will host professionals from Israel, UK and Europe, US, Australia, Hong Kong and Thailand, who will present a series of lectures and offer a variety of courses and workshops. Talks will include scar mitigation and healing, surgery and trauma, therapies for medical management, laser and light therapy, and treating acne scarring and striae.
In addition to the presentations, an exhibition will be held to showcase the latest innovations in medical equipment and the pharmaceutical industry.
Dermatologist and Israel director of aesthetic dermatology at the Tel Aviv Medial Center Dr Ofir Artzi said, “We’re proud to be hosting one of the largest, international scar conferences here in Israel, a country now considered pioneering in healthcare innovations and advances in medical technology."
He added, "We’ve put together an excellent programme for the conference, reaching across many different disciplines, covering all the newest treatments and technologies in the industry. Scars II will be an exceptionally informative event and superb networking opportunity for all industry professionals.”
