Swiss aesthetic manufacturer Teoxane has launched a sterile RHA topical skin booster.
The RHA topical skin booster is a cross-linked resilient hyaluronic acid (RHA) gel that can be administered between skin rejuvenation procedures such as microneedling and fractional laser.
Included in the formulation is the company’s new Boosted Dermo-Restructuring Complex, which the company states is 100 times more concentrated in the RHA topical skin booster than in previous Teoxane cosmeceuticals. The company states this complex strengthens the dermis and provides powerful antioxidant protection, leaving skin looking naturally more radiant and bright on the face, neck and décolleté.
Aesthetic nurse Angela Kerr from AK Aesthetics, who has been using the RHA topical skin booster, said, “I had a patient that after a microdermabrasion treatment her skin was noticeably red and inflamed from the procedure. I applied the Topical Skin Booster and almost instantly it reduced the redness and inflammation of the skin, the patient said she felt like the skin had cooled and felt tighter after application. The Topical Skin Booster was very easy to use, easily distributed onto the skin and absorbed quickly leaving no residue.”
