Bioidentical hormone specialist Dr Marion Gluck has launched a second course on bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) that aims to teach a more comprehensive approach to personalised medicine.
The first course, 'Introduction to Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy', was launched in the UK last year to teach aesthetic practitioners how to treat patients with BHRT to balance hormones. The second course will go into more depth and provide a greater understanding of how hormones affect cells and a treatment protocol to improve a patient's skin, hair and genital health.
The one-day course will also aims to give practitioners more confidence in treating more female patients, including an introduction to treating and optimising men’s health. Ongoing post-course support forms part of the course programme.
The course will provide 6 CPD points over 6 hours and applicants must have completed the Marion Gluck Training Academy course 1 or be an existing bio-identical hormone therapy specialist registered with the appropriate regulatory body (GMC/GDC/NMC/GPhC).
