CynoSure have announced a new partnership programme with training leaders MATA (Medical Aesthetic Training Academy) and the international awarding body CIBTAC (Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology) to provide endorsed manufacturer-led training in aesthetic laser technologies. This joint venture means that customers undertaking product training with CynoSure can have this count towards their official qualifications for the aesthetic sector, provided via MATA and CIBTAC. These qualifications are written into the new JCCP (Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners) standards and CPSA (Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority) guidelines.
“CynoSure are dedicated to the highest standards of service and this partnership means that by completing product training, our customers will have completed over 30% of a formal qualification - saving them both time and money in the future,” says Ben Savigar-Jones, UK & Ireland Sales Director of CynoSure. “We believe aesthetic procedures should only be conducted by properly trained and qualified practitioners, and this partnership helps uphold those values by contributing to the regulation of the UK industry as a whole”.
The CIBTAC Level 4 Certificate in Laser & Light Treatment is an Ofqual approved qualification which gives delegates the knowledge and skills to deliver laser hair reduction, skin rejuvenation (including vascular and pigmentation reduction) safely and competently in salons, spas and clinics. MATA also offer the MATA CIBTAC Level 5 in Laser Tattoo Removal, which is the most comprehensive and in-depth training in tattoo removal available.
Mr Faz Zavahir, Director of MATA says “We are thrilled to be working closely with Cynosure on this new venture to accredit laser training through renowned awarding body CIBTAC, and raising the standards of medical aesthetic training by providing comprehensive qualifications to those entering the sector. At MATA, we firmly believe in the advanced technology and effectiveness of Cynosure devices and look forward to this new training pathway.”

With Cynosure now becoming the 4th division of this scientific driven company, the support and investment into on-going development and improvement of its product portfolio is secured.
