SUMMARY:Advanced Facial Anatomy
DESCRIPTION:This is our first multi-award winning and highly specialised cadaveric teaching course\, led by Mr Dalvi Humzah who is an Anatomist and Consultant Plastic\, Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgeon. Having studied Advanced Human Anatomy\, Developmental Anatomy and Neuro-Anatomy as part of his BSc (Hons). This independent teaching is delivered in a bespoke manner\, in small groups to allow you the time and attention to focus on particular anatomical areas that you may be interested in\, under the guidance of qualified tutors. The majority of anatomical texts available are not current or specific in portraying the detailed knowledge required to deliver a safe and high standard of aesthetic treatments to cosmetic patients\, or may be inconsistent in detail. Mr Humzah lectures and teaches internationally on facial anatomy through practical dissection\, and is involved in the research and development of a considerable number of injectable products. \nMr Dalvi Humzah has a wealth of anatomical as well as injectable experience and has been involved in performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures for over 28 years. The session comprises a blended analytic approach\, critically discussing the current literature surrounding facial anatomy and ageing\, combined with a practical component involving dissection of facial anatomy pertinent to the non-surgical clinician. It has been designed to instil a safe approach to non-surgical treatments\, through facilitating a detailed and accurate awareness of the anatomy of the face. You will have the unique opportunity to “Inject and Dissect” to allow you to ensure you are able to accurately place injectables in a safe plane and enhance your practice.
