IQ Resources, a sister company to IQ Verify, a UKAS accredited certification body has launched a new eLearning package titled the Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler Level 7 eLearning.
IQ Resources states that the new course meets current UK cosmetic guidelines and its aim to support the delivery of the IQ Level 7 certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine, to support all other forms of injectables training (regulated or unregulated) and to support the further learning/ upskilling of existing practitioners who are looking to maintain knowledge currency without attendance at a formal training event.
Laurence Clarke, qualification development and sector lead for aesthetic medicine said, “Having successfully delivered our IQ Level 7 Certificate in Injectables for Aesthetic Medicine, the first and only Ofqual regulated L7 Injectables qualification in the UK, via a number of approved training centres for almost three years now- several trends have become clear within this area of training; the quality of delivery materials varies on training courses and that regulated training isn’t for everyone. We have pulled upon our experience within this sector to address this and have worked with key technology providers to produce high calibre eLearning materials meeting the requirements of Level 7.”
He continued, “In addition to supporting the IQ Level 7, a core objective was to deliver a product that addressed a number of issues associated within more traditional injectable training programmes. Not only do our eLearning materials meet all of the current UK cosmetic guidelines, but regular updates are included within the price of purchase to allow for this maintenance of knowledge without the need for further expenditure. Furthermore, due to the inherent accessibility of eLearning, the convenience with which these materials can be accessed is unrivalled thereby allowing practitioners to address the working commitment vs upskilling balance without compromise.”
Purchases of the training can be made through the online IQ Resources Store, accessed via the Industry Qualifications website. Upon completion of the transaction, the purchaser is provided with login details to access the eLearning materials. Modules include; History, Ethics and Law, Cosmetic Psychology, Dermal Filler Use, Ageing and photoaging plus many more.
Clarke concluded, “We are extremely excited to be part of such an important development that supports our commitment to improve the quality of training within the aesthetic sector. Throughout 2019, IQ Resources will expand the range of eLearning materials that are provided to address other modalities of aesthetic practice.”
