The Clinical Advisory Board works with the Aesthetics team to ensure our educational, clinical and business content is of the highest possible standard and stays abreast of the latest developments in the field.

A clinical advisory board is integral to the success and credibility of the Aesthetics Journal, serving as a diverse group of experts in medical aesthetics. Comprising physicians, researchers, and industry leaders, this board collaborates to validate and endorse content, ensuring it remains current, evidence-based, and aligned with the highest medical standards. In the dynamic field of aesthetics, the Clinical Advisory Board plays a crucial role in staying ahead of emerging trends, addressing controversies, and adapting to evolving technologies. Clinical lead:

Sharon Bennett

Sharon Bennett is chair of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN), previous UK lead of the BSI committee for aesthetic non-surgical standards, and member of the Clinical Advisory Group for the JCCP. She is a trainer and registered university mentor in cosmetic medical practice, and is finishing her MSc at Northumbria University. Bennett has won the Aesthetics Award for Nurse Practitioner of the Year and the Award for Outstanding Achievement.
