Aesthetic technology manufacturer Cutera has launched a new initiative to celebrate aesthetic professionals that have made a positive impact during the COVID-19 global crisis.
Named ‘Heroes Among Us’, the initiative recognises extraordinary cases of compassion, humanitarianism and kindness and looks to raise awareness of those professionals who have gone above and beyond during the pandemic.
One honouree will be selected to receive a £5,000 donation to the charity of their choice and will be announced during the Virtual Cutera University Clinical Forum (CUCF) being held on Friday October 23 to Sunday October 25.
Tim Taylor, UK country manager at Cutera said that the company originally launched the Heroes Among Us programme earlier this year to highlight aesthetic practices with patients who underwent incredible transformations using Cutera technologies. He stated, “When COVID-19 hit, we decided to shift the focus of this charitable contest to honour aesthetic professionals who are doing outstanding things to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. From aesthetic practitioners going back to the NHS frontline, or helping manage the 111 phone line, or even those donating personal protective equipment, Cutera wants to shine a spotlight on those individuals making a real difference.”
