Aesthetic device manufacturer Cynosure Lutronic has published its patient-focused Skinsights report.
The report surveyed 1,500 UK participants, with 66% females and 34% males. The survey highlighted that ‘improving confidence’ was the most popular reason for undergoing an aesthetic treatment, outweighing special offers and peer recommendations.
90% of respondents said they suffered from at least one skin condition, and women were mostly focused on traditional antiageing treatments while men focused on medical skin conditions. Nearly 50% of participants listed fine lines and wrinkles as their top problem.
