New book launched on craniofacial surgery

Thieme Medical Publishers has released a new book authored by Mesa et al. titled the Atlas of Operative Craniofacial Surgery.

The book, which is also supported with 20 accompanying videos on surgical techniques, has been written to provide the reader with a succinct, yet comprehensive guide to performing craniofacial operations. In each chapter, specialists share their strategies for selecting patients, executing effective preoperative planning, comprehending detailed operative techniques, instituting postoperative care best practice, dealing with possible complications and much more.

The publication features more than 1,400 intraoperative photos and 300 drawings aimed to guide the reader in a step-by-step fashion.

It is presented in cooperation with the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Society of Craniofacial Surgery and it is primarily designed for all those involved with craniofacial surgery including surgeons, fellows and maxillofacial residents.
