New study confirms MaiLi filler perioral efficacy

Written by...

New research published in the Journal of Clinical and Cosmetic Dermatology has found that dermal filler MaiLi Precise from Sinclair is safe and effective in treating perioral fine lines.

The four-centre pilot study looked into the use of MaiLi Precise in the perioral region, which the authors called a ‘difficult area’ to treat as it is dynamic. Each study centre involved five female patients with an average age of 56 years.

The research found that 95% of the 20 patients agreed they were more satisfied with their appearance one month after MaiLi treatment, and 90% were more satisfied after three months. They all said they were more satisfied with the appearance of their perioral wrinkles after treatment.

The participating practitioners – Dr Paloma Borregón and Dr Juan Caicedo from Spain, Dr Raphaëlle Glacet from France, Dr Erick Santaella from Mexico and Dr Franco Vercesi from Italy – reported that the product was easy to use, and returned good results compared to alternative rheologies.

Dawn Thomson, Sinclair UK injectables brand manager, commented, “At Sinclair, we are dedicated to providing safe and effective treatments for all patients. The safety profile of our products is our top priority, and we have invested in both training and superior products to ensure patient care is paramount. This new study is testament to MaiLi’s safety record, and we are delighted that participating physicians and patients alike have such confidence in our product.”
