Aesthetic manufacturer Crown Aesthetics held the SkinPen Global London Symposium educational event for aesthetic practitioners on October 1.
At the event, the company announced three new approved indications for its SkinPen Precision microneedling device, as well as launching a new website and the new SkinPen Precision Post Procedure Masque.
More than 450 delegates tuned into the event, and 100 attended in-person. It was opened by CEO of Crown Aesthetics Jeff Bedard, and included a full day of educational clinical and business talks, as well as live treatment demonstrations.
The highlights included a talk on how to drive patient results with SkinPen by aesthetic practitioner Miss Sherina Balaratnam, an overview of the different SkinPen indications by education manager Kat Coleman, wound healing and scar revision using microneedling with plastic surgeon and burns specialist Mr Andy Williams, and how to build your business through Google with Rick O’Neill.
Reena Sandhu, head of marketing and operations UKI, said the event was another overwhelming success with excellent customer feedback. “Our SkinPen symposiums aim to provide clinical education to our customers and provide them with detailed treatment protocols to enhance patient results further,” she explained.
She added, “The main highlight was the announcement of our newly approved indications for stretch marks, surgical scars and enlarged pores. Also, we had record high numbers of virtual attendees this time – over 450 tuned in, and there were over 100 delegates in the auditorium. We also had international medical doctors fly in from Europe and industry-leading clinics in the audience. We are already working on the next Symposium, which will be in mid-2023.”
