Allergan faculty releases treatment trends report

A panel of aesthetic practitioners from Allergan Aesthetics’, an AbbVie company, specialist faculty has identified several key trends expected to shape clinical practice in 2026.

Aesthetic nurse prescriber Natalie Haswell highlighted that patients are seeking “safe products with longevity, delivered with skill and not following trends.”

She added that dermal fillers are regaining prominence when used as part of a “multi layered approach” to achieve natural, structural results. Aesthetic practitioner Dr Nestor Demosthenous noted a broader shift towards patient-centred care, integrating skin health, preventative approaches and emotional wellbeing alongside aesthetic outcomes.

Aesthetic practitioner Dr Jonquille Chantrey pointed to rising interest in regenerative techniques, as well as increased awareness of the aesthetic impact of GLP-1 medications. The faculty members also reported that patient requests focused on refreshed, balanced outcomes and long-term skin quality, rather than overt aesthetic change, a trend expected to continue into 2026.

Allergan is the Headline Sponsor of the Aesthetics Conference & Exhibition on March 13-14.
