Global pharmaceutical company Allergan has confirmed its support for aesthetic practitioner Dr Vincent Wong’s campaign #IAMME.
The campaign is the first of its kind designed for those of the LGBTQ+ community (which recognises lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer/questioning and asexual individuals) to promote safety inclusivity in the wellbeing and medical aesthetics specialty.
The #IAMME campaign will feature an eight-part video series, released on the first Wednesday of every month, where Dr Wong will share his key messages about finding pride within and eradicating fear and creating inclusion for safer medical treatments.
Dr Wong commented, “I strongly believe that there is room in the medical aesthetics industry to make a difference. I’m very proud and honoured to be working with a global pharmaceutical company, Allergan, in this exciting campaign.”
Allergan country manager, Nancy Ghattas, said, “We at Allergan recognise the importance of celebrating diversity and understand that an inclusive community is better at overcoming challenges and creates a stronger, more competitive company. We have always supported and celebrated everyone’s right to be whoever they wish to be, and we take great pride in the fact that our products can be used in such important procedures and support the journey of our friends in the LGBTQ+ community.”
