The British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) will host a nurse-led educational event on April 19 at Wigmore Presents.

This educational agenda is in collaboration with the Association for Prescribers and The British Dermatological Nursing Group, shares BAMAN. The morning session will cover prescribing updates, including guidance on delegation, specialist prescribing in women’s health and demonstrating competence in medical aesthetic prescribing, according to the organisation. Speakers include Tracey Jones, Gavin Wollacott, Tracey Dennison, Amy Lamb and Julia Hart.

BAMAN further notes that the afternoon will highlight dermatology updates relevant to medical aesthetic practice. Topics include perioral dermatitis, sun protection, skin lesion identification and referral pathways in private practice and management of common skin conditions during pregnancy. Speakers include Teena Mackenzie, Dr Emma Craythorne, Emma Button, Verity Nowlan, Alison Mahon and Mani Toni.

Raffi Eghiayan, CEO of Wigmore Medical, commented, “We’re delighted to partner with BAMAN at Wigmore Presents and welcome the addition of their agenda, which – like the wider conference – champions clinical excellence, professional development and best practice within a collaborative and supportive environment.”
