Aesthetic practitioner Dr Patrick Treacy has released a new book called A Living History of Medicine.
According to Dr Treacy, his new book explores the lesser-known figures who have shaped the history of modern medicine, highlighting medical advancements made through individuals’ research and dedication to fighting disease.
Dr Treacy commented, “Eponyms in medicine involve a disease becoming well known through the name of a prominent physician who identified it. This book, however, focuses on the lives of the doctors who discovered them.”
