Laser manufacturer Lynton has launched a VTCT Level 2 Award in Infection Prevention.
According to the company, the virtual half-day course is a knowledge-based qualification aimed at aesthetic practitioners who need to understand the COVID-19 infection prevention methods required in the working environment in order to maintain high levels of health and safety.
The first qualifications will take place virtually on November 19 and 30 and will be hosted by Lynton’s trainer and assessor Kirsty Turnbull.
Lynton’s clinical director, Dr Sam Hills, commented, “Lynton is delighted to offer this important qualification in conjunction with VTCT. We know there is little evidence of COVID-transmission in our industry when appropriate infection control procedures are in place and gaining this qualification will help clinic owners reassure their customers that they are being treated in a COVID-safe environment and demonstrate to them that the safety of their patients is paramount.”
