Lynton Lasers releases customer guidance for reopening post COVID-19

Written by...

Laser manufacturer Lynton Lasers has released recommendations and solutions for the current challenges laser and intense pulsed light (IPL) clinics face as they reopen.

The guidance includes equipment considerations, management of energy-based devices, smoke evacuation systems, patient safety, PPE, infection control, a COVID-19 risk assessment template and checklist.

Managing director of Lynton Lasers, Dr Jon Exley, stated, “As we all navigate the new normal it is imperative to look at your clinic environment from treatment rooms to how you conduct your laser and IPL treatments, so risk assessments will be imperative. We have provided our customers with clear guidance which discusses key processes alongside a thorough risk assessment template to help clinics move forward post COVID-19 lockdown safely. We are happy to help our customers further with any additional guidance they may need by simply emailing us.”

Lynton customers can visit the website to access the guidance.
