Healthcare technology company Surgery Unified has launched the SurgeOn app to improve patient care in the UK.
The app has previously launched in the United States, and is now available for the NHS and all other UK medical professionals. Launching across Europe and Canada, the app features video tutorials and an AI translation service named Scribe, designed to transcribe consultations.
The Office for National Statistics has reported that 9.7 million in the UK were on a waiting list for hospital appointments or treatment, and Aurgery Unified said that SurgeOn aims to relieve the existing strain on the NHS.
Mr Mark Soliman, surgeon and founder of SurgeOn, commented, “SurgeOn provides a safe, judgment-free space where surgeons can connect globally, fostering an open and welcoming environment. It encourages everyone, especially junior team members, to ask questions and seek guidance without fear of being misunderstood or judged.”
