Pharmaceutical company Sinclair Pharma has introduced The MaiLi Experience to provide a touchpoint for clinicians to learn how to treat with MaiLi.
According to the company, MaiLi is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed to improve signs of ageing. Held monthly, practitioners will be invited to attend a full day training session to give delegates the skills to treat with MaiLi.
The training will take place at the Royal College of General Practitioners and will begin with a presentation about MaiLi. This will be followed by five live demonstrations, focusing on treating the upper face, mid-face, lower face, lips and tear trough areas. Delegates will be divided into small groups and will progress through five different training rooms to ensure they have an opportunity for intensive observation and learning about each of the main MaiLi treatment areas, explains Sinclair.
Speakers will include aesthetic practitioners Dr Victoria Manning, Dr Charlotte Woodward, Dr Sabika Karim, Dr Leah Totton, Dr Sheila Nguyen and Dr MJ Rowland-Warmann.
The company will also be offering an In-Clinic Experience which enables a practitioner to receive personal training from four or five clinicians at the clinic of one of the speakers.
Dr Manning said, “I am delighted to be working with Sinclair Pharma to offer delegates unique and in-depth training, to provide a deep understanding and engender confidence when treating with MaiLi. The experience will offer the latest clinical appreciation of what can be achieved with this remarkable new treatment, and techniques needed to ensure safety is at the forefront of their practice.”
The first three MaiLi Experience training courses are scheduled for March 7, April 4 and May 9.
