Skincare company Obagi Medical has debuted the Obagi REBALANCE Skin Barrier Recovery Cream, distributed by Healthxchange.
Suited for sensitive skin, the recovery cream includes Barrierplex Technology – a blend of postbiotics, ceramides and green algae. The product aims to rebalance the skin microbiome and stimulate epidermal renewal, according to the company.
Among these ingredients, the recovery cream includes squalane and niacinamide, aimed to boost hydration and reduce irritation, the company says.
Simone Shoffman, head of education at Healthxchange, says, “The Obagi REBALANCE skin barrier cream is the brand’s first dedicated skin-recovery product. This launch provides clinicians with an effective post-procedure recovery option that complements existing Obagi treatments such as the Blue Radiance Peel and Skintrinsiq, significantly reducing downtime.”
