Aesthetic practitioner Professor Bob Khanna will host The International Academy of Advanced Facial Aesthetics (IAAFA) annual conference and awards ceremony on November 20.
The conference will include various talks including Gillian Murphy on managing the stages of vascular occlusions, cosmetic account handler at Hamilton Fraser Insurance Shelly Hemmings on how to avoid patient complaints from a practitioners’ perspective, aesthetic practitioner Dr Patrick Treacy on why we need to change our facial features and dentist Dr Manrina Rhode on her journey in facial aesthetics. As well as industry speakers, Professor Khanna will also speak on TMD and bruxism and how to avoid common mistakes with chins and jawlines.
After the conference, a charity ball and awards ceremony will take place in collaboration with the Ruth Strauss Foundation, to support families facing the death of a parent and to aid research into non-smoking lung cancers.
The awards ceremony will be hosted by actor and TV presenter Sanjeev Bhaskar. A three-course dinner, entertainment and networking will be taking place.
