After a two-year hiatus, on July 11-12, skincare and dermal filler brand Teoxane held their Academy Conference at the Leonardo Royal London in St Pauls, offering talks, anatomy discussions and live demonstrations to more than 300 attendees.
The delegates were welcomed by Sandra Fishlock, director at Teoxane UK, before hearing from the event’s key speakers: Dr Raul Cetto, Dr Benji Dhillon, Dr Ayad Harb, Miss Sabrina Shah-Desai, Dr Tahera Bhojani-Lynch, Dr Saleena Zimri, Dr Wassim Taktouk, Dr Chris Rennie, Dr Kam Lally and Dr Jeremy Isaac.
Over the two days, Teoxane offered a broad view of how to cater to patients’ needs and wellness, before providing insight into both full-face pre-restoration and restoration through live demos and cadaver dissections which were live streamed from Paris by plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon Dr Patrick Trevidic.
Different areas of the face – the tear trough, lower face, perioral area and mid-face – were examined in more detail, advising on best practice and treatment plans. The Teoxane Approach of Anatomy, Technique, Product (ATP) was discussed for each live demonstration.
Delegates were also able to view treatment results, learn about potential complications, listen in to an expert panel discussion and network with colleagues, all while considering the evolution of aesthetics.
Plastic and reconstructive surgeon Dr Ashwin Soni, who attended the conference, said, “The Teoxane Academy Conference was an exceptional event full of insights from some of the leading experts in our field. The combination of live dissections and procedures was incredible, and of significant value to everyone who attended.”
