Aesthetics Charity Partner The BDD Foundation was welcomed to The Aesthetics Awards 2025, raising £8,000 in total for the cause.
Funds were raised on the night through £6,000 of generous donations, as well as £2,000 kindly provided by skincare company CellDerma. CellDerma also sponsored the Charity Best Dressed Competition, which saw Ida Bafende and Andrew Bennett crowned most glamorous on the night. Turn to p.53 to see their winning outfits.
Dr Rob Willson, BDD Foundation chair, reflected, “We were delighted for the BDD Foundation to be part of the recent Aesthetics Awards. It meant so much to share the work of our small charity and raise awareness of BDD amongst the aesthetics community. Increasing understanding of BDD is a core aspect of our charity mission, and the event provided a fantastic platform to connect with the specialty and further patient safeguarding. We are so grateful for the generosity shown by everyone at the event, which will directly support those affected by BDD.”
