Skincare service The Skin Diary has unveiled its new Night Repair Therapy cream. The company shares that the product has been formulated by consultant dermatologists at the University of Manchester, with tests showing that the cream demonstrated repair of sun damaged dermal elastic tissue equivalent to that seen with retinoic acid.
Some of the cream’s key ingredients include bilberry extract which repairs skin damage through its antioxidant qualities, microdispersed aquose lycopene which is designed to improve the appearance of pigmentation and retinyl palmitate which can trigger cellular regeneration with long-term use.
Consultant dermatologist and founder of The Skin Diary Dr Clare Kiely commented, “Highly-acclaimed consultant dermatologists Professor Chris Griffiths OBE and Dr Tamara Griffiths have developed the Skin Diary Night Repair Therapy. Designed to regenerate and rebuild collagen and elastin in prematurely aged skin, the formula has been proven to the highest level of scientific evidence – double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical studies in human skin.”
