Tweakments Guide Live held for intrigued patients

Aesthetic journalist Alice Hart-Davis held the Tweakments Guide Live event for intrigued consumers at St John’s Church, London.

Top aesthetic practitioner Dr Rita Rakus led the educational content on the day, with talks for prospective patients covering topics such as innovation in aesthetic devices, blue light and the skin, pigmentation and hormone responses during menopause.

Hart-Davis welcomed 250 visitors to the event, with 60 enjoying 15-minute consultations with aesthetic practitioners including Dr Rakus, Dr Galyna Selezneva, Dr Sophie Shotter, Dr Bhavjit Kaur and Miss Elizabeth Hawkes.

Aesthetic companies were also in attendance to share their products with consumers, including Advanced Nutrition Programme, AlumierMD, BTL Aesthetics, Deleo, HA-Derma, NeoGen, Novus Medical, Philip Kingsley, Pure Swiss Aesthetics and Ultraclear.

Hart-Davis reflected, “I can’t tell you how great it felt to hold another real-life Tweakments Guide Live evening. I started these in-person, consumer education events in 2019, with the aim of getting members of my tweakments-curious audience in front of outstanding cosmetic practitioners, and introducing them to great brands of aesthetic technology and skincare. The first two events were a big hit, but then came lockdown, so it was fantastic to return with a bigger, busier event, with more top practitioners than you could shake a stick at.”

The Tweakments Guide Live will return in the Autumn.
