Pharmaceutical company Bioderma and skincare brand Institute Esthederm have teamed up to host #Embraceyourskin, a virtual event taking place from July 16 to 19.
Patients, healthcare professionals and journalists are invited to attend.
The first day of the event will allow participants to access streamlined medical online lectures which have been sponsored by NAOS, the parent company of Bioderma and Institute Esthederm. The company explains that CPD points can be earned through attendance, and that each session will end with a Q&A discussion.
The next three days of the event will feature talks from aesthetic practitioner Dr Sophie Shotter, ITEC certified anatomy tutor Alicia Falero, and makeup artist Rebecca Wordingham, in order to help consumer participants gain a better understanding of the skin’s biological mechanisms and its dysfunctions.
The workshops will run on Zoom, lasting between 30 to 45 minutes.
