On April 4, the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) and Cosmetic Practice Standards Authority (CPSA) held a meeting with stakeholders in London to discuss how to successfully raise public awareness of the risks associated with non-surgical procedures and encourage members of the public to seek qualified practitioners.
Clinic operator Transform, part of the Transform Hospital Group, has confirmed that all of its healthcare professionals involved within non-surgical treatments will be required to join the voluntary Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) register, as part of a new partnership between the two parties.
The Westminster Hall will debate the regulation of non-surgical cosmetic procedures on Tuesday February 12 from 11-11:30am.
The Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) has signed a memorandum of understanding with a number of regulating bodies, which it says is aimed at working towards an improvement in public safety within aesthetics in 2019.
