Aura 3D Imaging System officially launches

Reality technology company Hexagon has debuted its new Aura 3D Imaging System.

According to the company, Aura 3D Imaging System provides photo-realistic 3D images of a patients’ face and neck from one single image, as opposed to several taken at different angles.

The company also explains that the device provides practitioners with AI-driven insights into patients’ skin analysis, taking consultations to a new level of understanding, and better visualising post-treatment transformations.

Burkhard Boeckem, chief technology officer at Hexagon, said, “We are thrilled to finally bring Hexagon’s reality technology and expertise to the most complex landscape of all – the human face. The Aura 3D Imaging System pushes the boundaries for what is possible in the aesthetics specialty.”

The product is available to order in the UK now, with the official release date scheduled for July 2024.
