The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) will welcome practitioners to the Aesthetics Congress XIV, taking place on Friday, September 4 in London.
The congress theme, ‘Shaping the Future of Aesthetic Medicine: A Multidisciplinary & Regenerative Perspective’, reflects the programme’s focus on collaboration and innovation across the sector. The event is open to doctors, dentists, surgeons, nurses and allied healthcare professionals with an interest in medical aesthetics.
National and international specialists in dermatology, plastic surgery, ophthalmology, maxillofacial surgery, dentistry and medical aesthetics will examine the face through a range of specialty perspectives during the one-day programme. Topics will include multidisciplinary facial assessment, anatomy and complication prevention, injectables and devices and regenerative approaches.
The keynote address will be delivered by consultant orthodontist Mr Farhad B. Naini, author of the book Facial Aesthetics: Concepts and Clinical Diagnosis. The programme will also feature the Pierre Fournier Memorial Lecture, delivered this year by section president consultant dermatologist Dr Christopher Rowland-Payne.
